the right question to veteran actors like Amitabh is: why he thinks bollywood movies are so much far from indian reality? and what has he done about it.
nobody wants to make films about real indians' speaking real indian languages:, with real indian issues, and achievements etc. they are so phony that the best fitting actor for them is no other than Govinda.
Indian cinema has no artistic value. foul language, item songs(with cheap moves), candy floss, and expensive jewellery and cloths and beautiful locals means nothing.
Indian movimaker scene is dominated by mindless shallow 'greats!'
as far as Amitabh goes, he is cutting the crop now, what he sowed in his young age. Nothing worthwhile has come from this actor since last 10-15 years.
